Today I will be sharing a super easy recipe which is not only delicious but healthy too. I have included sweet potatoes which has loads of benefits for the health instead of potatoes. This dish can be had as an evening snack or for dinner also. This is an effective weight loss recipe. Remember ” What you eat and drink , shows on your skin , hair and health ”
Sweet Potatoes are an excellent source of Vitamin A . Sweet Potatoes have more fiber too. As for glycemic index, sweet potatoes are lower on the scale. It is very good alternative to white potatoes because the high fiber content of sweet potatoes plays a major role in helping you to lose weight. Secondly, sweet potatoes have a relatively low calorie content, which is also very important if you trying to lose weight.
- 500 gms of Sweet Potatoes ( cut into small pieces and cook it separately ) – Then fry it in little bit of oil or put it in the air fr
- 1 tbsp Pure Coconut Oil / Olive Oil
- 2 Onions chopped
- 10-15 Curry Leaves
- Half tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp of crushed coriander seeds
- 2 tbsp of Coriander seeds
- 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp of Red Chilly Powder
- 1 Green Chilly
- 3-4 Garlic Pods
Blend the above in a blender till fine powder
In a pan , add in the coconut oil .
Once hot , add in the onions and cook till its pinkish in color.
Once pinkish add in the curry leaves and fry .
When its golden brown , add in the turmeric powder and cook well.
Now add in the masala which we blended and cook well.
After 2 mins , add in the sweet potatoes and stir well.
Then after 2-3 mins add in the crushed coriander seeds and salt.
Cook for another 2 mins and switch off the flame.
